Student Poster Competition
IAFI would like to thank all those who submitted entries for the IAFI World Seafood Congress, Student poster competition.
All the posters were placed on display in the Omni-Shoreham Hotel during the Congress Welcome Reception on Sunday 2nd October and were left on display for the delegates to view during coffee and lunch breaks on the following days.
The competition was judged by an independent panel of 3 international seafood experts led by Dr Jose Fernandez Polanco of the University of Cantabria, Spain The judging panel was very impressed by the standard of all the entries, and made their decisions based how well the entries reflected the theme of this year’s WSC:
“Seafood + Health = Trade + Jobs”
The final results of the judge’s deliberations were:
1st Place Santosh Narayan Raju

2nd Place Anthony Sanoj
Title: To Analyse the Growth of Indian Aquaculture Sector and Acknowledge the main reasons for Rejections in Fish and Fishery Products
3rd Place Archana C K
Title: Strategic Alliance as an effective international strategy to improve seafood trade between India and UK.
