IAFI represents the world fish inspection community helping them to provide fish, seafood and associated products that are safe, of acceptable quality and readily available for sale in the global marketplace. 




   

Mark Boulter is the Technical and Sustainability Manager at Sydney Fish Market.


His role is to:


manage the company’s food safety and quality management systems including maintaining the company’s accreditation to the ISO 22000 standard.


manage the company's supply chain research and development portfolio, working with FRDC (and other funding agencies, when applicable), with the goal of maximizing the benefits accrued to SFM, its supply chain partners and to its shareholders from the R&D projects supported by SFM.


ensure the company's seafood sustainability credentials, as defined in the company Mission and Sustainability Principles policy, are evaluated and monitored and can be clearly communicated to relevant stakeholders such as government agencies, industry, E-NGO’s and the public. 


Mark is also a former member of the following bodies:

Ex- Chair ASQAAC– Australian Shellfish Quality Assurance Advisory Committee (2011-13)

Agri Food Skills Seafood Training Standing Committee (2009-2011)

FRDC People Development Advisory Group (2007-13)

NSW Food Authority Shellfish Review Committee (2003).
